Friendly Reminder
Recommended for use with X Browser v5.3.0 and above
Quick Start (TL;DR)
- Open any search engine’s search results page (such as Google / Bing / Baidu, etc.).
- A “Quick Search Bar” will appear at the top of the page for one-click search engine switching.
- If you want to display more engines, first add custom search engines in “Browser Settings -> Advanced Settings”.
Script Introduction
When you use a search engine, a toolbar for quickly switching search engines appears at the top of the page. X Browser’s built-in search engines will be displayed in the toolbar; you can also add your own by going to “Browser Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Add Custom Search Engine”.
Usage Instructions
- The toolbar automatically shows/hides based on the current page environment; it generally only appears on search results pages.
- The search engines that appear in the toolbar depend on your configured built-in/custom search engines.

FAQ (Troubleshooting)
- Toolbar doesn’t appear on the page: Please confirm the current page is a search results page; also check if the script is enabled.
- The toolbar doesn’t have the search engine I want: Please first add a custom search engine in “Browser Settings -> Advanced Settings”, then refresh the page.
- No redirect after switching/incorrect redirect: Different search engines may have different parameter rules, and the script may need adaptation updates; you can provide the specific URL and reproduction steps to the script author.
